Peppermint flavour

I was really excited to be accepted to try these bars as this brand is actually my favourite protein bar range, but I'd never tried the whipped version. The mint flavour was definitely the best and I loved the fact that you could really smell the peppermint as soon as you opened the packet. It tasted really rich and creamy, and the chocolate around it was delicious - it was like I was having a really decadent 'naughty' treat, just without the guilt afterwards, which was great! I also loved the little bits of crunch that you got with the mousse-like filling, it gave it a nice texture and again made me feel like I was eating really yummy dessert. One bar definitely satisfied my sugar cravings (I don't think I could eat two of them in one go), and I loved the fact that I I could feel like I was treating myself, without feeling bad afterwards.

Boysenberry flavour! Yum.

Delicious bars!! I liked most of the flavours in this range, but Boysenberry was my favourite overall. I like to have something sweet after dinner, but I always feel bad if I eat chocolate or biscuits every night. The great thing about these bars was that they helped to satisfy my sugar cravings, but because they're healthier than normal chocolate/biscuits I didn't feel bad about eating it! The boysenberry flavour was sweet enough to make me feel like I was eating a nice dessert, but it also had a nice bit of fruitiness to it, which meant it wasn't too rich/sickly sweet. I liked the texture of the whipped centre and also thought the bar was a good size for a post-dinner treat - not too small that you feel like you need more, but also not too big that you feel like a pig if you eat the whole thing. Overall I really enjoyed this trial and am happy that I've now discovered something that I can eat when I feel like something sweet but don't want to feel bad about eating it afterwards.

Kind of works? but not sure if I'd buy them again

I've always had protein shakes, so I thought I'd give this trial a go as I've never had a protein bar before (until now). Packaging - just looks like another regular bar. However, I must say what really caught my eye about this particular packaging was the image of an ice cream on each bar. Personally, I think this is a bad idea. I understand that each ice cream represents a different flavour, however I believe there are other ways of presenting the flavours of the bars, such as displaying a block of chocolate and mint leaves for the flavour choc mint. I know this idea is very original, but the whole idea of a protein bar is to help people lose weight. But, by displaying the image of an ice cream may give people cravings of eating unhealthy food, which may cause them to not buy it instead making them purchase other food, and this strongly contradicts the weight loss objective. The portion seems a little smaller than what I expected, but they really do fill you up after a few minutes. I enjoyed all the flavours, however I don't really like the fact that they get stuck to your teeth so easily and you have to get a toothpick or something to get them out. After having them for a few days, I find them to be all right but I think I would prefer the shakes, because I think the bars don't control your hunger as much as the shakes and I would feel hungry after an hour or two of eating them.

So I've tried protein powders back a few years back but gave up. But I recently started back at the gym and so these protein bars came at the perfect time. I tend to think all protein bars taste like cardboard and can't stick to any protein products for too long. However I loved the variety of flavors in these bars so you could mix it up each day and they don't taste as dreadful as other protein products. My fav was the chic mint. I think the small size is better then the whole big bar as you get your protein without getting sick of the taste. I ate a bar each day on the way to the gym and it kept me sustained during my workouts. However depending on the flavor some did get the carboardy taste after a few bites. Overall still the best protein product I've tried yet. Would repurchase due to convenience and flavors.

Not bad!

I was lucky enough to be a trial team member for this product. The flavours I were sent was Boysenberry, Chocolate, Choc Mint and English Toffee. I dont really enjoy anything Choc mint so that was my least favourite flavour. My fave was Chocolate for sure. They all had a fluffy inner and a soft chocolate coating. They werent crunch like a normal protein bar and I was very surprised how soft they were to bite into. The serving size was perfect for on the go and I felt relatively full after eating one. These would be great for an afternoon snack to make do between lunch and dinner to beat the three thirty-itis. The packaging wasnt overly fantastic being primarily blue and white. I think on a shelf they would just blend in to the other protein bars. Over all I did enjoy these protein bars. I would most probably buy them again after trialling them.

Aussie bodies is a brand that I have tried on and off for years and having the opportunity to try out some new flavours and formulas I had to give them a go! The new whip'd product is based on ice cream flavours which was super exciting for me! Having a huge sweet tooth but attempting to loose weight and stay healthy, has been difficult and these bars defiantly helped with that. The packaging is nice and compact and easy to chuck a few in my handbag for on the go, and I love that they have the option of a 2 pack. The amount of protein, carbs and sugars are clearly stated on the front of the packing and makes it very simple to know what you are putting into your body. I absolutely LOVED the English toffee and the boysenberry ripple flavours! The choc mint was my least favourite but I can see many people liking this one. I’m looking forward to discovering these again and keeping a selection in my snack box for a pick-me-up.

I recently had the opportunity to try some Aussie bodies protein bars, the flavours i tried were: chocolate, boysenberry, English toffee and choc mint. I really liked the chocolate and boysenberry flavours, but wasn't the biggest fan of the English toffe and choc mint, but that was just because i generally don't eat those flavours. The packaging was quite appealing and showed the flavours. They also came in 2 different sizes, which was great because sometimes your staving and want a full one , and other times you just want some thing bite sized. I really liked the way that they made me feel, eating a healthy protein bar. And not having and regrets about stuffing my face haha. I think that they are great for a post workout snack, to help rebuild/ improve your muscles I would definitely buy this product if i saw them in the supermarket Overall i would probably give them 4 out of 5 stars.

I have tried a few of the flavours in the Aussie Bodies range and found the English Toffee flavour the most enjoyable. I really liked the chocolate coating and the creamy texture of the treat but I did experience a funny chemical aftertaste which wasn't very nice. Mine was also a bit squashed and melted so more sturdier packaging to keep the bar in tact would be appreciated. I liked that they come in both a mini size and large size bars. The mini one was great to throw in my handbag for emergencies and the large one would be good for a meal out and about when I am too busy to stop for lunch. I also loved that the bars are low carb, high protein and limited in sugar so they would be a fabulous guilt-free afternoon snack. Great with a hot cup of tea or coffee to curb the 3pm chocolate cravings.
Ideal For?:
A quick snack on the run or great for afternoon snack at work to curb chocolate cravings.
Any Tips?:
Keep them in a seperate handbag pouch so the bars don't get squashed.

I am one of those people who always go looking for something to eat early afternoon, and usually for sweet treat. I really enjoyed the Aussie Bodies Lo Carb Whip'd Protein Bars to help fill that gap, the mini ones are perfect as your running out the door for school pick up, and help keep you feeling full until dinner time. The bigger pack (60g) contains 2 mini bars, so it can be perfect to share with someone, (my husband was pretty keen to try it when he saw what I had) or eat throughout the day. I think the new whip'd version is easier to eat, and are not as heavy as the original ones. I quite liked all of the flavours, however I'd say the mint and boysenberry where my two favourite, the bars have a thin chocolate coating, which makes you think you are eating a chocolate bar. Overall I would recommend these, they are so handy to have in your handbag for a quick snack on the go.

I had the pleasure of trialling this product and as a fit chick (powerlifter X body builder X dancer) was so excited and interested to see how they stack up against the many other protein bars in the market. My diet is very strict and I love clean treats, these squashed my sugar cravings without interfering with my goals. Upon opening my packaging I noticed they didn't travel very well in the post so I would suggest to keep them in a cool place and be mindful this is due to the bars being so light and fluffy and did not take away for the bar what so ever. The flavours I received were: Choc Mint, Boysenberry Ripple, English Toffee and Chocolate, one full size and three half size. WOW... I've tried my fair share of protein cookies/bars but these are just divine, no chemical / fake additive taste and for me tasted just like a full sugar/calorie treat- WINNING !! At 100cal and .02g sugar and 1g carbs for the small bars this makes me really happy. Across the range was a consistent soft inside and crisp chocolate layer. I found that the full size was great for a snack on the go, long drive, before/ after training when you require something to keep you going longer before you are able to eat a meal. The smaller sizes I found fantastic as a little treat, morning snack (instead of my yogurt) or after dance class, they are still filling. Although the whole range tasted amazing, my favourite flavour was the Choc Mint soft mint coupled with rich chocolate then: Chocolate which reminded me of a rich fudge, Boysenberry tasted like fresh berries, English Toffee traditional toffee taste. I would definitely repurchase, I prefer the smaller sizes to keep portion control and for convenience. Good news is these are available readily and cant wait to get my hands on more !!
Ideal For?:
Fit Fam
Guilt free treat
Any Tips?:
Keep in a cool place, product is soft so take care to ensure it is not squished in your bag/travels

Very yummy! Satisfied sugar cravings and hunger pangs. Loved them!

I really liked the Aussie Bodies Lo Carb Whip'd protein bars. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavours and the texture of the product. I've tried other protein bars in the past and didn't enjoy them as much as I enjoyed these. Boysenberry is not a flavour which I would usually choose. I did enjoy it but I wasn't overly satisfied with the aftertaste. I really enjoyed the Chocolate and Choc Mint flavours. As a busy mum and student, leading an active lifestyle, I felt I benefited from the addition of the protein bars into my diet. I consumed them after my morning exercise routine, during my morning study session, at a time that sugar cravings would usually kick in. I found that the protein bars satisfied my sugar cravings and also helped me to feel full until my next meal. I also felt rather focused and motivated after consuming them, when I would usually feel sluggish and unproductive after consuming my usual unhealthy go-to snacks. I like the packaging too. It's eye-catching and would be easily spotted among other products on a supermarket shelf. This is something I'm please about because I will definitely be purchasing these in the future! I would also happily recommend them to my family and friends.
Ideal For?:
Anyone! Students, busy people, parents, active people...
Great for a snack alternative or to satisfy sugar cravings. Easy to grab and eat on the run.
Any Tips?:
None that I can think of :) I didn't find anything about the product particularly negative.

the packaging was sleek, with an ice-cream at the front which i thought was abit odd considering it's a diet product. however, it was easy to open and the product inside looked good. the chocolate coating gave it a luxurious feel. the texture of the product was smooth. my favourite was the chocolate flavour. you could taste the cocoa in it which was nice. it was sweet but did not taste too sweet or too much like chemicals which can be the case with some dietary products. the quantity of product in each pack was just right to fill the stomach for a snack. the chocolate mint came with two in a pack which was too much for one sitting. it didn't keep me full for long which i was hoping it would since it was a protein bar. it lasted as long as any other sweet snack would, about half an hour max. it's easy to carry around in the bag or pocket which i quite liked.
Ideal For?:
a snack between meals
Any Tips?:
use it as a snack

The Aussie Body Lo Carb Whip'd bars come in a plastic wrapper that you have to tear open. The packaging is sturdy and the wrapper stays sealed even when I throw one in my handbag and it rattles around in there till I eat it. No tearing or leakage to complain of. My only gripe is that the 2 pack should be a resealable wrapper because I couldn't eat both bars at once so it would be convenient to reseal the wrapper and save the 2nd bar for later. The bars are all chocolate coated with a soft center. The chocolate bar was my favourite of the 4 flavours. It has a soft center with a bit of chocolate chips for a bit of crunch and texture. The rest of the flavours are good. The mint flavour is especially good for anyone looking to satisfy their hunger and freshen up their breath at the same time. My throat had that minty cool feeling for a good 15-20 minutes after eating the mint bar which I thought would be great if you were on a date. Each bar is around a 100 calories each and with around 9g of protein. The calorie and protein amount varies slightly with each flavour. The bars are also low in sugar but it has enough flavour to satisfy my sweet cravings. I had a bar when I was out an about and starving and it curbed my hunger for over 2 hours which was great because it prevented me from eating junk food. I think the bars are a good alternative for snacks in between meals for anyone looking to increase their protein intake and satisfy their sweet craving.

I absolutely love this product, it was the perfect size to put in my bag for an on the go snack after a workout or simply between meals. Didn't make me feel guilty either because it was lo carb. Came in many different flavours which I loved, my favourite being choc mint as it didn't have quite as strong after taste compared to the others. Definitely better than the multiple others I have tried, with a better variety of flavours. Great product however it does have a very strong after taste of a chemical like substance that did put me off the product a bit. However, considering everything else, such as what the bar contains and how much protein it gave me I overall found it quite satisfactory and would buy it again, depending on its retail price. I loved the packaging and how it was bright and colourful, yet if you picked up the bar, you would almost immediately recognise the brand due to its distinctive colouring. Overall I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a delicious protein bar.
Ideal For?:
Anyone who is looking for a delicious in-between meal snack without the guilt of having a chocolate bar
Any Tips?:
Make sure you have water near you as the aftertaste can be quite overpowering and can turn you off the product.

Great taste!

Seriously, I felt like I was eating a rich, decedent chocolate bar!! The favours of all were amazing, and the denseness of each bar meant that you only felt tempted to eat one after a workout - great for a greedy pig like me! For such tiny bars, the denseness is really fantastic. I have to say though, the boysenberry was amazing. I have never enjoyed protein so much in my life. I was feeling absolutely ravenous one day and one of these little beauties was enough to keep me going quite happily. They are definitely not cheap, but you get what you pay for. The high amount of protein (9.7 grams as opposed to the 0.7 grams of sugars) is great, and makes you feel quite pleased with yourself even though you are technically eating a chocolate bar. Overall, the package design is fine, the flavours are great, and the enjoyment is awesome! Thumbs up to Aussie Bodies for a post-workout snack as enjoyable as this.

Thank you Trial Team for sending me Aussie Bodies Lo Carb protein bars to try. I received four flavors, English Toffee, Boysenberry Ripple, Chocolate and Choc Mint. I have tried a lot of different protein bars before, but I have to say these are my favourites so far because they taste so nice, and they are actually filling. They look quite small, but are a great size at 30gr as they are quite dense and take a while to eat. They have very limited sugar and carbs which is great to find in a protein bar. The bars are a great healthy alternative snack between either my breakfast and lunch or lunch and dinner. They helped me keep fuller for longer which definitely helps with a healthy diet and taking your mind of other sugar heavy snacks we normally reach for. The taste is very nice although the English Toffee and Boysenberry Ripple were a little dull. My favourites were Chocolate and the Choc Mint. I will definitely repurchase the mini bars and recommend them to my family and friends.

Easy and convenient for on the go

Overall not a terrible product, but in my experience there are definitely better protein bars and clean treats on the market. These have a decent amount of protein per serve (9g protein for a 30g serve) making them an easy post training snack. They are very low in carbs and sugar, so great if you're trying to lose weight. Of all the four flavours I trialled, I found the mint to be my favourite (however I am a mint lover!) All of the flavours are quite strong in taste and scent. At times I did find it a bit overwhelming and would be something one would need to get used to. The texture is quite normal for a protein bar, chewy and thick. Definitely an acquired taste. Overall this product is very convenient to have on hand for when you're on the go. They travel well and make an easy snack for your handbag or during your lunch break. Make sure not to eat these in excess, but as a quick addition to your daily food intake they do the job and get that protein in where it's needed.

Thanks for the opportunity to trial this range! I have tried the original Aussie Bodies Protein Bars and I did feel I preferred them to the new range. I thought that the chocolate, while a little naughty while dieting, did make me feel as though I was still eating healthily. It had a dark chocolate aftertaste while still tasting nice. The bar filling had very subtle crunchy pieces throughout however I felt that the flavours all had an underlying taste which I didnt quite like and the filling was a soft nougat which was chewier than I would have liked and hurt my jaw before the end of the bar however they still tasted quite nice, especially for a health food bar and the flavour range was fantastic with flavours like boysenberry and english toffee. I'm not sure how many calories they were per bar however I found that a small bar did fill me up for a while where otherwise I would have been grazing in between my meals. I would recommend these to anyone on a diet or on the go.

So delicious!

These protein bars are to die for. As an avid fitness junkie I am always eating protein bars from a range of different brands. I've tried Aussie Bodies' other bars before so when I was accepted into this trial I was excited as their products are generally of a high quality and usually taste great. I was not disappointed! These protein bars are super light and fluffy compared to others and this makes them very enjoyable and easy to eat. I heard someone compare them to a milky way and while I don't think they are quite that light and fluffy I think they are the closest protein bar equivalent you will find. They are easy to eat and not at all "roll around in your mouth" chewy as some can be! The flavours are also phenomenal!! The English Toffee was definitely my favourite but they were all delicious and I'd eat any of them again. I'm not a mint fan usually and I even liked the mint one!
Ideal For?:
A quick delicious protein packed snack!

Great for cravings!

I was lucky enough to trial some of the Aussie Bodies Lo Carb Whip'd protein range in a recent trial. My absolute favourite flavour, and the one I will be repurchasing and keeping as a standby snack is the Choc Mint. This flavour is so minty, with a nice chocolate hit. I am not normally a huge mint fan but this bar tastes amazingly good. I was so impressed with the way this bar tastes, I had to remind myself that it wasn't the real thing. I loved everything about it. The consistency is soft and chewy, a bit like nougat crossed with milky way but so minty and sweet chocolate. It tastes so rich and creamy that my sweet tooth cravings were completely satisfied with this product. With this product I can eat something that actually tastes sweet without feeling guilty. In one week, I was able to replace all my afternoon snacks with a protein bar, just by doing that I lost 1kg in the week. I cannot recommend this flavour enough.
Ideal For?:
This product is ideal for anyone trying to cut back on their sweets and sugar levels, or trying to lose weight.
Any Tips?:
Keep the bar in the fridge because they do melt/change shape easily. But they taste better cold.
